After an ungodly number of unforeseen events (and a nearly comical amount of fuckery getting here), the Meehl Foundation is pleased to announce the return of two of our founding facilitators – Embry and Greyson Smith. (woohoo, finally! :P)

Some of you may remember the two of them from our early ceremonies in Texas, as Em was a formative force in the inception and initiation of our vision. But even if you don’t, rest assured, you’re in good hands with this addition to our Washington team. They both bring masterful skillsets and a unique nurturing energies to every ceremony with a shared spirit of humility, integrity, and heart-led service.

Embry is an herbalist, ritualist, and lorekeeper with decades in service to the divine.

With certifications in a wide variety of modalities*, as well as initiation (or in some cases ordination) into multiple lineages and traditions**, and a neurodivergent “special interest” in all forms of folklore and ritual, they are a  veritable encyclopedia of knowledge. We often call them ‘human google’, and are never disappointed by their endless wisdom or their talent to distill complex universal principles into simple, accessible language.

As a chronically ill, radically queer, non-binary practitioner dedicated to their own journey of decolonization, reconnection, and reconciliation, Em has a deep respect for the significance of lived experiences. And a well-honed ability to bridge experience to understanding through a philosophy of non-judgement, radical acceptance, and soulful empowerment.

Greyson is professional percussionist, sound engineer, and DJ with nearly 4 decades of experience crafting soundscapes that speak to the soul, move the body, and shift consciousness. A jolly, gentle giant with the soul of a fae and the aura of a teddy bear, Grey combines infectious joy and childlike wonder with the grounding presence of an earth elemental.

Perfectly melding his practical skill and magical disposition with a keen interest in Druidry and Norse Shamanism to foster a unique partnership with our plant sacraments and sacred journeys.

As a self-professed foodie with years of professional culinary experience and a love of crafting post-ceremony breakfast tacos, Grey has a talent for nourishing and grounding body, mind, and soul with beautifully curated and artfully crafted sensory experience.

Joining the team as (another) power couple, Em and Grey will be living full-time on the property to facilitate even more powerful ceremonies and retreats, as well as building their own projects and offerings in the coming months.
