What is Kambo?

Kambo is a consecrated medicine that is gathered from the secretions from a giant monkey frog commonly known as phyllomedusa bicolor. It’s collected in the early morning since they are nocturnal animals and can be found with ease at this time. Since the frog does not have any predators, it’s therefore rated a VIP lounge amphibian in the Amazons ecosystem.

Preparation for Kambo Treatment

Anyone who wishes to use Kambo needs to be well prepared for the ceremony and as such it’s imperative to ensure that one goes through fasting for at least 6 hours before the ceremony, remain hydrated a few days, ensure that you are not under any medication and eat clean food as much as possible. This will boost the system to generate a great outcome once through with the ceremony.

There are certain things that one should take with them to ceremony:  which include a towel, a blanket, 2 liters of water, a pen and a notebook, a yoga mat and a payment which is considered sacred to give to the Kambo practitioners.
